Header - Textile Terms

Definition:

A header is woven at the start of a weaving project, to spread the warp threads evenly in the warp, and to allow for checking of threading errors. It is best to use a yarn of a similar weight as the weft of the project. You can use a contrasting colour to make it easier to identify threading errors.
