Training

I have study with Ceclia Quinn, Norman Kennedy, Chad Alice Hadgan, Carol Leigh, Sherry Watson, Judy Tysman and many other wonderful teachers. I have studied at Campbell Folk Art school. I have been teach classes, for the past 2 years. We also have summer camps for kids on our alpaca farm, so they not only learn about alpacas, angora bunnies other farm critters, but they learn the wonderful arts of olde.

Weaving

We offer Tri-loom weaving and stick weaving. We also have a class that shows you the many different housewhole items that you can weave with.

Spinning

We offer Spinning 101. This covers taking a raw fleece and carrying it through to a beautiful yarn. In this class we cover skirting, washing, dyeing, dying, picking, carding, spinning, plying and putting the yarn into a skein. Drop spindling is also covered and every student receives a free drop spindle of their every own to take home.

Dyeing

Other Fiberarts

We have felting classes also.

Travel

Most of my classes are upon request. About twice a year we have scheduled adult classes and most of the summer camps are scheduled events. They are usually taught at our farm; however, we do travel to give lectures and workshops.

Comments

As a small child, I always wanted to learn how to spin. Six years ago I was able to make that dream come true. I took many, many, many classes and met some wonderful people. It has been such a wonderful journey.I love what I do and would like to share it will anyone else who has this desire. You can't imagine the thrill it is to look on someones face and know they are saying under their breath "I got it! I got it." Come and join in the fun and learn some of these wonderful arts.
