Hemp Yarns

What is an Affiliate?

I thought I'd share with you the little amulet bags I wove as gifts and to sell at a guild sale. The average size is about 2" x 3".They are woven with black wool and lined in black silk. The front panels are done in 4-harness honeycomb weave, treadled in various ways. The heavy yarn outlining the colored cells is fairly heavy gold metallic yarn in some, and strips of gold lame and silver lame fabric in others. The colored cells are various cotton yarns about 10/2 weight. The cords are made of black cotton floss and are 36" long. The front flap/panels close with small velcro circles. Each bag is beaded at the bottom and some have small "buttons" at the bottom of the flap - none are alike.
