Spinning Llama

"I too am the proud recipent of five bags of llama.... I have been taking small bits at time, about four handfulls, filling up three mesh lingerie bags, and filling my washing machine with hot hot water... and a bit of human hair shampoo. Then I shut off the washer, and gently push the mesh bags down until saturated. Soak.

I take the bags out before the water cools down too much, then spin out the water in the tub... refill...... repeat process a few more times depending on the dirt of the llama...( mine was pretty dirty ) and then on last rinse I put in this GREAT smelling human hair conditioner.... cheap 99 cents stuff from Aldi's.

Then I spin out the bags on the final rinse, but FIRST I shut off the water to the washing machine.. .because during the spin cycle, my machine squirts water into the tub.... and you don't want any agitation or you will have lumps of felt!

I spread them out on a mesh sweater dryer rack, but fluffing them out on a towel in the sunshine would work too."
