A short video that demonstrates handspinning. I'm using a Quebec production wheel. I usually spin with music in the background - I find it helps to maintain an even rhythm. (Music by Van Morrison)

Watch closely. The yarn got too thin and it broke. But I fixed it with hardly missing a beat!

I am spinning a luscious blend of silver-grey merino and silk in this clip. Any suggestions on what I should make with it? You can post your ideas to our Forum.

If you haven't downloaded Real Player before, you will need to go to their website and download it to your hard drive. Then go into your Download directory and run the .exe file to install the Real Player onto your computer. If you have problems with this please let me know. I'll be happy to help:-)
