When you submit to search engines, don't 'spam' the indexes. Only submit each of your pages once, to each search engine. Some search engines only allow you to send one page from your site. The Spider takes care of the rest, and looks through your entire site, saving you lots of work.

When you have set up your pages, and have successfully been added to search engines, be sure not to change your page names. If you do, the search engine won't know that, and will misdirect your traffic, sending the searcher a dreaded "404" file not found message. You can change the content that is on the page, updating it with new products and information, or you can add additional pages and submit the new pages to search engines, though.

In addition to the major search engines such as Google there are some other lesser known search engines that I've found. Each link should take you directly to the page where you can add your url and site information.
