Dateline: 10/13/98

The Christmas season is quickly approaching. As we start to prepare for this busy season, looms are busy, filling holiday orders or making gifts for loved ones. In case you are still looking for another project to work on, why not participate in our Christmas tree ornament exchange?

To participate:

Please email me , and let me know your email and snail mail address and I will provide mailing instructions.

Please weave 6 ornaments, suitable for hanging on a Christmas tree. Suggested structure: double weave pickup, tapestry, lace, triaxial or ?

Please enclose 6 copies of drawdown and instructions for making your project. If this is your own design, and you would like it to be displayed on our MiningCo website, please provide written permission allowing the information to be reprinted.

Postage fee: $ 3.00 U.S. Any excess postage will be donated to a weavers guild. Also, please enclose a large Self addressed envelope for returning your new ornaments.

Due date: November 25, 1998. Please mail by this date to allow time for repacking and mailing to you by Christmas.

You will receive in return, 6 handwoven Christmas ornaments, made by your friends and weavers at MiningCo.

If you are looking for more exchanges to participate in, the 1999 Cyber Dish Towel Exchange is on. Be creative and enjoy!
