| If you ever get to Paris, a must-see is the Unicorn Tapestry exhibit! |
| You will find the Unicorn Tapestries at the Musée National du Moyen Âge in Paris. These exquisite tapestries depict the 5 senses of Touch, Taste, Sight, Smell, Hearing and the 6th one is for love - To My Only Desire. The tapestries were found by by Prosper Mérimée in Boussac castle in 1841. The tapestries had deteriorated near the bottom edges so were rewoven. The colours used in the restoration have faded already and the colours don't match the brilliance of the original shades. |
