Monks Cloth Weaving Drafts

Monk’s cloth is a type of canvas weave that is used for the backing for Swedish weaving, a type of embroidery.

To create the open spacing required for this weave structure, sett the yarn in groups of 4 ends per dent, with an empty dent between each group.
